Emily Talago for Bozeman City Commission
Common sense solutions to Bozeman's most pressing issues

Steady Leadership. Real Solutions. Bozeman First.
Steady Leadership.
Real Solutions.
Bozeman First.
Hi, I’m Emily Talago. I’m running for City Commission because Bozeman deserves leaders who listen, take responsibility, and focus on what matters. From roads to housing, I’ll bring a steady, practical approach to every decision. I’ve spent over ten years working with local government and standing up for neighborhoods. Now, I’m ready to help our city grow with balance, honesty, and care. If you want a city government that works for everyone, I’d be honored to have your vote this November.

Growth That Works
Infrastructure before incentives. Systems that make sense.

Community-Driven Change
Empowering residents to help shape where we’re going.

Getting The Basics Right
Services that meet the moment. Budgets that reflect reality.

Meet Emily
With strong family roots, this fourth-generation horticulturist grew up and branched out. A scientist turned strategist, I bring a background in biotechnology and years in the research sector to my present-day work for Cashman Nursery and the Montana Nursery and Landscape Association.
Equal parts analytical and creative, I apply my skills to strategic planning, organizational management, operational efficiency, marketing, outreach, and educational campaigns. I’ve secured competitive funding, led complex projects, and navigated regulatory compliance — all while keeping an eye toward the future.
In my free time, I volunteer to elevate neighborhood needs and strengthen local connections. No matter the field, one thing remains true: I’m always cultivating something to benefit Bozeman.
